When you are about to intrust a near stranger with your most valuable possessions you want good peace of mind that the people you have choosen are trustworthy, reliable & professional individual/s.  Even once you have selected your sitter and they have agreed to cover your sit while you are away there is always that little nervous twinge at the bottom of ones stomach that worries about something going wrong.  Sitters cancelling out, arriving late or not arriving at all!  Having a signed agreement in place will outline the expectations for both the house owner and sitter. It also ensures that any information or agreements in regard to a house sit is exchanged before a sit takes place.  This preparation will support a successful sitting arrangement.

When we travel to clients who are using our services it nearly always incurs initial costs.  When we take on Free sitting jobs our travel costs to reach the destination are our own with no reimbursement to us.  Ensuring that our clients have commited to us is important.  Agreements need to be in place prior to us booking & confirming travel and transit accommodation/s.

The agreement also means that we are no longer considering other clients work during any completed agreement period and our calendar will be updated showing us unavailable.

Once our prospective Clients have requested to use our services, sitterm8 will draw up a draft agreement.  This document will include the specified dates that the sitter is required and ​​all Terms & Conditions for both Client and Sitter.  This document may go back and forth several times before both client and sitter are happy with the content.  Once the agreement has been signed by both Client and Sitter the arrangement is confirmed.
