In 2012 we decided to take a sebatical from our stressful firefighting careers and explore opportunities abroad to recharge our tired batteries. We did not return. Our 2 year break has now become our lifestyle...

'Life Is For Living, Don't Die Working'

Our names are Kevin and Michelle Gunn. We are an active, adventurous, funloving husband and wife team in our mid 40's. We offer professional home, business and pet sitting servics around the globe.

We have a unique, diverse range of skills from our careers and hobbies, allowing us to offer more than just pet and house sitting services. Our careers, past and present, have seen us both in the Emergency Service Sectors, Hospitality, Interior Decorating, Land Scaping and Business Management. Kevin served in the Military prior to joining the NZ Fire Service 20 years ago. I ( Michelle), managed a landscaping and horticultural business prior to joining the NZ Fire Service 15 years ago. During our years in the Fire Service we expanded our technical skills working with a commercial interior Decorating business. Prior to and since, we have worked in Hotel, Food & Beverage and Gas, Oil & Energy Sectors. We have also owned our own business.

Owning a business made it near impossible to take time off, let alone take a holiday! We believed our services may be compromised if we were not there and that no one else would be able to do what we did for our clients. We also know that many other business owners feel the same way. So knowing how work and play need that balance, we sold our business, left our jobs and embarked on travelling the world, helping others to take breaks away from their own burdening commitments and enjoy those much needed holidays. Our approach to life has allowed us to travel the world, explore new cultures and follow endless opportunity. We have even rubbed off on others we have met in our travels, who are now chasing their own dreams!

Our skills allow us to drive a multitude of heavy vehicles and machinery which is well suited to manage small lifestyle farms and business. We can landscape, garden, paint, drywall and much more.

Besides our technical skills we are both professional, well presented individuals who are both successful Managers and negotiators, making us a perfect choice to manage any 'out front of house' operations for our business owners.

WE LOVE ANIMALS! All kinds of animals, all kinds of sizes. We take the responsibility of looking after your pets very seriously. Your animals become our own and they will be showered with endless love and nurturing. We are house proud people and always treat homes as our own. We always go the extra mile, enjoying any challenges and enjoying a good days hard work. We never sweat the small stuff and manage as much as possible for our home owners, never leaving work or issues for our owners to return to.
